citrus_javaThis time it really is that, just me squeeing and nitpicking. Loved the episode a whole lot.
Oh, but before anything else -
I still say the second trial might be death, like Kevin said, and could be going on already - from the moment Sam finished the first trial.
But if it's changing Sam genetically, how cool would it be if it turns into a dragon or something?
There should always be Batcave scenes. Those are really great.
Yay, exploring! Yay, boys in the Batcave! Yay, the MOL didn't properly archive stuff, like I guessed. I don't know why they wouldn't either, but it just feels right.
Dean. You never open the mysterious box. And you never ever sniff what's inside. Especially if it's kept somewhere that's colonialist-privilaged-western-old and it looks oriental. Don't. Open. Don't. Sniff. Dean. You know your pop culture, dude! But I love that he did it - very in character, especially with the faces - and that nothing bad happened. Loved it.
Heh, I love Sam not really listening to Dean talk. Read it in many fics, don't remember it clearly on the show.
In Sam's eyes there is fondness, warmth, and acceptance of something he's a little sad about, that makes him softer. Maturity, dude. It suits you. Love you and love it!
It's really special to get to watch people you love and characters you love grow up for real.
Still not crazy about Dean's fetish, cause not cool, but loved the vintage thing, love love loved that he knew the first addition price. Awesome.
How come I've never read Dean getting Sam to dress up in a kimono or such?
"Make it ten" – AWESOME. I love that little smile - it's a game, halfhearted – playing messing with Sam but actually joking, and even the joking is something like an old pair of jeans – just – worn, comfy, part of their relationship.
Wastebasket – Wait, didn't Dean already know about Sam's condition?
Also, they got a printer for the Batcave now, too. Love that they're nesting, and would like to find out where they got all the money for all of that.
The victim had no enemies, Again. Seriously, don't these supernatural deaths ever happen to annoying or controversial people? Like, um, most of the people I love? Perhaps annoying queer feminists get a pass on supernatural crap, cause they have enough on their plates as it is.
Oh, she did not just giggle half embarrassed about her PHD. What happened to respecting years of work and expertise? Like all the male experts on the show? And no, it's not the Sam lust. Not with her hair in curlers.
Was never much of a Meg fan – but now I am. Disliked her first version, liked her second version, better and better the more we saw of her, but this episode I was really sold. She's fantastic. And I demand her back. Awesome acting, good writing, probably directing,just – good good good. REALLY good. "I am liking a het pairing" good. A het pairing that is on TV. Me. Loved the sides of the characters that came out between Meg and Cas. Complex and beautiful. I have never ever seen Cas like that, nor Misha.

I love that Meg remembers being inside of Sam, love that they had that conversation. Though, as go big secrets that come out in conversations with monsters, "Sam wants a normal life"? Is there anyone in the verse who doesn't know that yet?

OK, which reminds me – how come in his entire year in purgatory, Dean never met anybody he knew from before? Possibly sent there?

Poor Sam - damaged down to his very core, and now he's finally coming clean about it and you could tell Dean was so damn *angry* and frustrated and sad...but no more lies.
All the dead Deans was horrible. Naomi is evol but also, it seems, not quite on top of things so *yay*, and i don't want Meg to be gone!!

The dead Deans scene forced me to write fic about it. Wasn't going to... It's pretty much done, but I'm having some trouble making it tick, making it presentable.
Naughty scene, I don't write fic, and I never wrote Cas, I'm not that kind of girl! ;)
