How did you start podficcing?

Well, I used to record stories for loved ones way before there was podficing - I recorded a story for my brother and sister when I was away for a couple of weeks, and other times recorded fic, actually, cause I used to read books and stories to loved ones on long car rides.

Podfic as podfic, I knew I wanted to do straight away - since the chance to work with such wonderful texts was very appealing for me.... usually as an actor, I don't get texts I love that much, let alone get to play male roles I adore. So I wanted that very much, had no doubt. Honestly, it's not working out for me just that way, in actuality, I don't enjoy it as much as I'd have thought, mostly cause editing is torturous, but still - that is how I got into it.

Aww that's really nice what you did for your brother and sister! And I didn't realize you were an actor. I can definitely see the appeal of working on different roles. It's too bad it didn't work out the way you wanted though :S

Thank you! Well, it depends on your definition of actor. I've worked some, off-off-off-off everything, sometimes I even got paid!... Don't do it much of it these days, cause it takes too much out of me ATM .
