ETA: Unrelated, but fun. annie_46fic wrote a fill for my prompt. It's sweet and touching, and the best explanation I've read so far for the mood whiplash of 811. In it, Jared and Sam switch bodies during the filming of season 8, and there's some discussion of motivation, some hurt and some comfort.

OK, Venture Bros is one of those things that's so weird and awesome I expect them to disappear or change the moment I stop looking.

At some point I'll write more, hopefully, about the many many weird ways this echos Supernatural - or really, Supernatural echoes this. But really - two brothers, one bulky tall guy, and one sweet freckled guy named Dean, neglectful father (Dean's the good boy), muscle car, and of course - the supernatural.

If Supernatural is nearly-slash-text, Venture Bros is neatly-porn-text. So many scenes are beyond slashy. The guy tied together, face to face, getting hard ons. One of the boys possessed by a ghost, leaning it to kiss the other (and HEY! SPN! I've been asking for that scene from you pretty much since we've met! Not that hard, now, is it?!). And the ghost saying "Come on, like you two never experimented". And that's without even getting into the clones.

First of all - I rec. Go watch!

Second - where is all the fic?! That's as slashy as it gets, and one single fic on AO3?
