Bobby's despair in s5 is really interesting. I mean, I certainly understand why he would be depressed, but I never had the sense that he defined himself as much by his physical abilities as most hunters would--even when he could walk he was more focused on research and strategy. Maybe it was the combination of his personal physical loss with the Actual End of the World that made it all too much bear.
