If all you can say about characters is "vague slashiness" then they are cardboard cutouts and not just poorly defined characters but undefined characters. And they were. Can you tell me anything about the characters- likes, dislikes, favorite authors? NO. Boring boring boring. I personally don't get the whole male/male sex is awesomeness! that tends to define slash -I find it boring and stereotypical and reducing homosexuality (or bisexuality) to just being cute guys having sex instead of it being a part of their lives but not being their lives.

And seriously? No one over 25? The CW has got to get over its whole "only people under 25 can be leads" fixation.
