I agree, both have elements of Sam, and probably of Dean as well. And they are somewhat slashable, and clearly will be developing something somewhere between bromance and foeyay. But they weren't - interesting. There wasn't anything crackling there, a little bit of something, but nothing remotely close to SPN levels. And they didn't seem to mind that, I mean, they didn't even bother with queerbating.

I'm all about retelling the early seasons' story in a new way, I've read some fantastic fic doing that. If only they did it well...

Krissy and her friends - ugh. I was seriously worried they'd do that, and was relieved they weren't going to. But perhaps that could have been better...But really - here are so many characters SPN killed off or such, that could be lovely. Meg, the Trans, Charlie, Gabriel please, Anna, Pamela, Ellen... I'd watch a show about Bobby and Rufus on the road, bickering, whether revived or in the past. And of course Cas, Crowley. Even just take someone like Jess, whom we know nothing about, and write he a story. *Something*....

I seriously wonder whether they just had a show and decided to call it a pilot... probably not, which is even sadder.
