Yeah, I was not at all pleased with the episode. Ennis is poorly acted, *over*acted, and doesn't carry off intense emotions well AT ALL. David is somewhat interesting, and they are at least moderately slash-able, so far. But I didn't like AT ALL the way the female characters were treated, and it IS totally a retelling of Sam's story. And then there's bits of Sam's story in David's character too - who ran off to have a normal, human life and is just rejoining his family. And then there's the mysteriously absent father who shows up unexpectedly to offer cryptic warnings and such :/ *sigh*
My husband thought they should have done a spin-off of that hunter kid Krissy and her friends from last season. I didn't love that idea, but that would have been better than this, at least. *SIGH*
