Ahhh, this post is so delightful! <3 <3 <3 <3 I cannot even convey how happy I am that podfic makes you so happy and means so much to you, and especially that it's a safe place ("a sanctuary of subjectivity" is an awesome description, btw) for you during stressful or scary or aggravating encounters. I'm outraged that you have to go through the things you described, but I'm extremely glad you've been able to use podfic as such a steadying, strengthening resource.

Fandom is such a great thing, and podfic is such a great thing. I just want to roll around in a pile of podfic and never get up.
