I was watching an old con online and Jensen was talking about 11x09 or 11x10, when Dean goes to Hell where Sam is talking to Lucifer, and he mentions that, as Dean, he hesitates slightly, just before he goes inside, and how it was unscripted, but he thought it would be fitting for Dean, as this is his first time back there, and it's kind of PTSD moment.
And it's nice to see that being infused in the characters, that there are little touches. And it's nice to acknowledge them, in fandom and in canon.
I like the unspoken comfort and understanding between the brothers. <3
