4 things I liked about 10x04

I like that the show seems to be trying to change format a bit, perhaps to make it more similar to earlier seasons .

The look and vibe are less warm than the second half of season 8, less oppressive than season 9. That shot of Sam in early episode 1, sitting by a switchboard, lights at night, had a delightfully seventies feel, for me.

Dean made a gay joke. About himself giving a blowjob. I kinda liked it.
Also kinda liked that he got punched for it.
(I choose to consider it a punch for "that's not what we're doing on the show", which, for me, is worst than "men have a biological need to cheat" and even "wanting to be dominated is pathetic" that earned people punches in previous episodes. I'm kinda on board with this new punching policy in SPN, for a while)

Wolf-Sisters spinoff, or something like that with other people, could work .
This is a format revamp that I could get behind, if someone developed it well - I liked that it keeps the sibling dynamic, still monsters, road trip, only with women this time - yeah! They even did the whole - controlling, loving and good older sibling, younger sibling turned dangerous by family, questionable saving and so on. It would be interesting to see variations, though, but I'd go on a road trip with those, I'd probably like at least a season-type road trip fic for them
