Jensen may have never experienced depression/MI himself (or realized/named it), but he got that Jared went through something in season 3, and got that the t-shirt campaign, and what happened before and around it were meaningful for Jared, and he loves Jared so much, always wants to support him. It takes him some time to better understand.
