There were so so many thingss about this one that made me so so happy!
So many great moments and actual worldbuilding for the boys' childhood again and so much awesome and Jensen's acting was so much better could tell there was a significant difference right away- apparently sleep works for him!
So much ic! this ep need so much fic!

I wanted Sam to be deaged too anmd for them to be stuck that way for another ep or two.

Jared was great too

and banter! Yess!!!!

!!!!

Could do without the mysogyny, fatphobia and crazy people are gross, not to mention homeless people.


But apart from that it was SO AWESOME!!!!

This was the first episode I've watched live for a while, and I had a really good time! It felt a bit like an early season episode, with the fairy tale/urban legend monster and the brotherly banter. Dylan Everett is a really good young Dean. I'd love to see him paired up with Colin Ford for an episode, although the fact that he was so severely Dawson's cast here as a fourteen year old might make that weird (in RL he's 20 and Ford's 18, which would work pretty well for teenchesters).

I enjoyed watching Dean rock out to Taylor Swift, too. You just know he always wants to groove to pop music, but he's usually pretending he's too cool. I didn't buy for a second he'd use Phil Collins as a fake name, though.
